I do think hooker is what was meant, it just got lost in translation ...

Like so many pseudo foreign words used by people who don't speak the language they are trying to imitate.

i always think it would be cool to learn danish, or norwegian, or swedish, or icelandic. Then i remember that i live in the US and don't know anybody else who speaks it....

This sure looks like example logos for an auto show, not logos from a real business. Much much rarer. I can only think of one other example. Anyone else know of any?

I always wanted to learn Swedish and I do understand some, but it would definitely make more sense for me to learn Dutch since the border is in walking distance from my house Embarassed

I think fake is a harsh word. I like tribute or fantasy logo better. (Though if this is supposed to mean prostitution, it's pretty dumb.)

A "Flittchen" is a girl with loose morals, but that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with prostitution.
Besides, this word is pretty out of date; it is hardly used in Germany any more.
