I am being told that 36hp and 25hp valves are the same? The same exhaust valves and the same intake valves? is this correct? I thought I saw somewhere that they had different part numbers. Any help appreciated.

that is not correct, 25hp engines have intake and exhaust valves of the same diameter, 36hp engines have a larger intake valve. exhaust valves CAN be substituted for 25hp intake valves, although correct intake valves are slightly different shape under the valve face.

Ok thanks! But when people have them for sale and you need a set of 25hp intakes and exhaust valves, I have to make sure I buy the right ones?

anyone know the correct part numbers for 25hp ones?
