Here's mine.
I thought I'd post here only after completing it, and having it's maiden voyage today
Best Regards from (now, finally) a Ghia driver

Stunning Vlad, congratulations on an outstanding restoration project. |
Thank you so much John, I am really appreciative to read this coming from you. I really hope to be able to meet you (and Udo, and some of the rest of the Samba gang) at Hessisch Oldendorf sometime, eventhough it's quite a journey from Munich.
Greetings,

My 70 Vert, which I have owned for about 9 years now.
And I had to change the license plates, to drive it to the class reunion, since it was built the same month I graduated from High school.
Unfortunately, the 50th reunion got cancelled along with everything else last summer. |

That's quite the religious dog you have there
On another note, do I spy a black steering wheel? (cover?). You don't happen to need a restored ivory 55-57 steering wheel, do you ?

Impossible Mine is sitting in the garage with the trunk lid taken off, patiently awaiting a new German trunk seal to be glued in
Nice one Hanzl Love all the period correct details. I just love how the bumper curves around the front wing (underneath the blinker), it looks so good _________________ Vlad's 72 Ghia (Once in a Lifetime Restoration topic)

Thanks Vladiiii and rbsurfguy.
Put some effort in the car during the winter. Polishing and coated the paint and with the nice weather it is playtime.
The car and engine have matching numbers. Something to treasure...
Enjoy |

I believe you have enough to create a calendar or two. I'll buy! _________________ "Depression is a malfunction of the instrument we use to determine reality.”

John Moxon, all of your photos are always beautiful. Yes they would be great for a calendar. |

What a beautiful site to see, two fine examples of VW's finest, set out in front of a stately mansion....The Ghia's clearly shame the opulence of that fine estate!
