Refreshing to read of someone looking for Jesus. I’m praying Stuart finds Him sooner than later.

I found paradise by the dashboard light, does that count?

I bet you paved and caved paradise and put up a parking lot in the back 40

Stuart is fine and enjoying a bit more privacy lately. No drama.

I received a text from Stuart on Saturday. He said he was doing great.

Good guy, he remembered my kids from when he camped in my backyard.

I was happy to provide my bus for Sarah and Stuart on their special day. Even with expired tags. Dont worry Kevin, its up to date but the tags in Seattle at my Cousins house. Wink

The adventure began last weekvwhen Stu and I made arangements for him to take it for the wedding that was last Saturday. Stuart came over and picked up the bus while I was at work. I got a frantic call about a half hour after that. He thought he broke the bus while going to CostCo. He just ran out of gas. I failed to remind him that it runs out at the top of reserve. Need to tweek that one. Confused

He made the rest of the trip fine after pushing it to the pumps. Parked the bus on the Church property safe and sound.

The bus was used for pics and general run around during the wedding and reception. Dave sent me a gift for Stu that I forgot to put into the bus. Ill see Stuart some time this week and give it to him then. Maybe today.

In my time knowing Stuart, this bus has been at the very core of our relationship. He has spent countless hours futzing with it, having fun seeing and putting on some of the obscure accessories, enjoying the upgrades and alterations. I cant thank the kid enough for his enthusiastic energy he brings all the time. Even on those days I was a grumpy asshole. Shocked Laughing I was honored and more than willing to let him take it for his special day.

A TOAST! To long life and posterity Mr & Mrs Zickefoose! Congradulations to you and many years of happiness!

The big break out - haulted. Out of gas Embarassed

Congratulations to both of them. I had wondered what had happened to him. His Corky thread over in the Vanagon section was an adventure in hard work and heartache.

Pleased to read this thread, have wondered about Stuart a few times... ran into him in person at the dog beach in Edmonds WA several years back and as others have said he struck me as a very genuine and enthusiastic guy. Good luck out there Stu!
