starting a thread on my dads mid 55 oval. seems like it just barely missed ribbed doors. factory polor silver car, everwhere except the inside areas were OG paint, and it also had a green cloth interior which was mosty destroyed besides the back seat. Its not gonna be an all stock build, but will be the factory color. It used to be my old bodyshop teachers project, in 2016 I took it all apart at the school to paint. i only got as far as pulling it apart, fixing the battery tray, and painting/undercoating the pan. also installed a 4in narrowed beam, new king and links, CB drop spindles and the CB disc brake kit all the way around. its a really solid original car, no rust. had the factory motor and running gear. not missing any parts. the only real issue with it is the roof was crushed at one point, and fixed (sorta). plan is to replace the window section and add a ragtop. he wants to put a 3 fold into it. so thats in the works. for now i'm replacing the front and rear aprons, the drivers side carpet strip, the rear bumper brackets and the engine bay side trays.

some pics from when it was at my old tech school in 2016
