Transmission axle flange seal leak?

awww.. this all looks so nice!! did your flange seem to hang up where the SpeediSleeve would enter the seal? had to bang on mine to get it in past that point.

i'm waiting for someone to say "You shouldn't schmear RTV on the cap like that.." only makes sense to me.

i'd redone my entire rear brakes including new cables, that were in far worse shape than yours. such a joy to be able to put the brake on and know it will release!! always a question with each P.O.S. car i own.

Yep. Flange hung up but a smack with my palm got it past.

No question with the rtv on the plug. Every trans rebuild I have had has that done by the rebuilder.
