I saw these 17s in Lakeland FL a couple of weeks back and want them. I only see EMPI all chrome and polished/anthracite painted for sale. A buddy told me these were probably the wheels made by another company before EMPI. Can anyone tell me what to search for? I need a set with the silver center and polished rim edge. Thanks! -Teddy

My wheels, not yet restored and have been painted. I like them. A lot. They are EMPI Rader’s made by The American Wheel Corp and sold exclusively by EMPI. The first Mag type wheel EMPI sold which makes them cooler than BRM’s Very Happy

Remarkable that such a recognizable name had its basis simply from the German word for "wheels"- Raeder, with the "ae" the grammatical equivalent of the a with umlaut.

Thanks for the research, Typ3nut.

Sticker is cool! A very nice pair of wheels. They have different bolt seats to mine too, looks like your are raised and mine are recessed.
cheers
Mark
