Primed and painted the body today. Three coats of Acrylic Urethane single stage Albert Blue. Cars original color.
Gotta do the doors, trunk and hood next.

It’s pretty unique for a Ghia. They didn’t seem to offer a lot of dark colors over the years. Or maybe most people didn’t order them with dark colors. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

It is dark, yet it has a lot of color. Some times, dark blues can look almost black and lacking in color, but this is very different. And yes, it does seem to be very rare. It's the first time I've seen it. _________________ Marc

Went in and painted the doors, hood and deck lid today. Tomorrow we’ll mount them.

Doors, deck lid and hood mounted and car is back at home. Cut and buff in a week and then begin assembly of the body.

Looks great! Beautiful car. I tend to like the lighter colors, but once you put the white interior and especially the white top on, I really like it. You made quick work of this restoration! Putting me to shame!! LOL _________________ Marc
