hi all,

a friend gave me a large roof rack after his tintop van was sold... there's only one clamp left....

so anybody knows who make this clamp and/or where to get it... (there's no name on the roof rack)

thanks

To me that looks like just part of a clamp.

Might be simpler to post a pic of the rack for suggestions on where to get a full set of suitable clamps.

Agree about a photo.

Is there a brand or any markings on the rack anywhere?

I believe I recognize the clamp part,. Did you personally take the photo? Can you post additional perspectives with dimensions?

My guess is you will have to have someone make them. It should not be that hard to find someone that can do it. If you let us know where where you are located someone here can probably recommend someone. John

It looks a lot like a Smittybuilt rack though the mounting bracket attachment is different.
An Older perhaps?

You could give us a better view of the mounting brackets you have that you need parts for?

The mounting brackets are varied and not cheap!

Here is one style that might work?

By comparison, Four roof gutter mounts for my Hauler rack cost over $400!

And that did not include the coss bars!

Thank you all for trying to help...

I got the roof rack about a year ago and never tried to put it on my tintop... it has been leaning against the barn wall since then so I don't know how it sits/attached to the roof.

The truth is I like a topbox better than an open rack so I recently have a look and gather missing clamps so I can pass along to someone else. Yes the Smittybilt rack is the closest to it and it could be an older model from them.

thanks again,

It's a really nice basket/rack. Someone is going to love it on their van.

Damn, those clamps would be easy to make. If nobody wants it, I'd be very interested. We're gonna be swinging through OR/NorCA in just a couple weeks.
