question for you guys I'm planning on using this thing for mostly street use some very light off road if I go in the sand it will just be from point a to b nothing crazy and logging roads here in the north west
I was wanting to run a set of 2 dropped spindles I have a link pin front end and still have the factory bump stops on the beam, i have adjusters installed in the beam if I lower it with stock spindles ill be bouncing off the bump stops ?
I'm trying to get the best ride out of the front end and I don't want to be completely stuck on the street
thanks for any input |

I plan on installing it up in the front angled at about 30゚ under my fuel tank so it blows down through the tube chassis but that could change till

Interesting, don’t think I’ve come across that concept yet and I have been searching. I like it, do you think it will clear the steering? Or are you going with a rack? _________________ it's more fun loud and dirty |

I'm using a rack and pinion
It will be above the lower part of the radiator.i will building a custom fuel tank to give the proper gap so it will create a high pressure area and the cooling fans will be underneath to draw though |

I really need your guys input and advice I have installed torsion adjusters in my link pin front end and I still have my factory bump stops, I'm torn should I use my stock spindles or get dropped spindles
I would like a decent ride and don't want to stuff tires into my front fenders |

I am not familiar with link pin stuff, but if you lower with adjusters and leave the rest stock you shouldn’t hit the fenders, with drop spindles you might. You can cycle the suspension without the torsion packs in and see _________________ it's more fun loud and dirty |

I was just talking to a guy last weekend that put drop spindles on his 67 bug.......said it drove like Sh*t!!!!!
Took them off and put adjusters in the beam instead.

tried the new cover on the old body and the 2000 Subaru starter sat to high and to far to the right
I got a later model Subaru starter and its more compact
And after that started prepping and cut the whole in the new body
I also found out the new classic body isn't a exact fit to the Manx 2 over time I'm guessing the Manx 2 shrank, the rear of the body is wider on the classic so I'm going to have to widen the of my frame and the parcel tray floor in the classic is also higher then the floor in the Manx 2 so that has given me a little more clearance
you can see at the rear of the car the tube behind the tire the Manx 2 body used to sit on it and the classic does not
