I had the lighting specialist install custom Bi-Xenon projectors into my headlights. They turned out excellent!

The bi-xenon lighting upgrade package on my 2016 GTi was the best feature by far. Soooo worth the money. It’s amazing the difference it makes over my wife’s 2019 alltrack _________________ 2001 EV MV |

Had the mattress for the EVC redone to add memory foam to the top of the original foam. Much more comfortable.

Hi EVCSNOW, how thick is the memory foam and did you get to keep the original covers? |

The tech used a 2" inch memory foam mattress topper I provided that was purchased at Walmart. The "full" size topper was cut to size by the tech using the factory foam as a template.
This is the foam topper that I used.
I was able to keep the original covers. Note that the covers now do weigh more and take up more space. However, the mattress still folds correctly and most importantly, is much more comfortable.
I may try to make a memory foam pillow with the remaining foam left over. |

I went to the mobile mechanic's house and he installed a custom mini bull bar with 2 amber "Delta" fog lights.
I have upgraded Bi-Xenon headlights and these fog lights should compliment them well.

Though I didn't do that modification/update today (1year + ago), I thought I'd still share it since, after testing and using it for a while now, it has proven to be a nice and cheap upgrade.
It was originally my wife's idea as we were trying to upgrade the kiddo's bed (on the floor before Now very comfortable for a small kid) and also add better storage compartments.
Final result
Made out of PVC pipes and 2x 1/4in plywood (leftover of house renovation)
It still has room for the table
It still has room for the bed
It's also a great way to keep the water cooler in place

I like that the table and bed were not affected. Nice inexpensive addition. _________________ '03 MV |

One of these days I'll learn to keep my mouth shut- I was telling my wife how reliable our Eurovan has been as I drove her to the store. When she came back out I turned the key and nothing. Moved the shifter twisted the steering wheel and tried again nothing.
I don't know what combination of turning steering wheel and twisting the key the engine started- We drove home.
Next day no start no matter what I did.
I got the Bentley monster manuals out and saw what I had to do I pulled the covers off the steering wheel
I jumped the electrical plug and got the engine running. So I took the steering wheel off and saw that the hole was already drilled and removed the lock assembly it seemed OK.
I got a new electrical switch and plugged it into the electrical plug and using a screw driver everything worked
but so far I've not had any luck getting the switch's Phillips screw out.

You just need to replace the electrical part. You can get that from the front of the steering column with a good long Phillips _________________ .ssS! |

Nice sharp point on the Phillips and it’s not an easy one, maybe 7/10 on the difficulty scale, but the screw is into plastic IRRC, so it should come _________________ .ssS! |
