You don't need a title to buy a car. Find the relatives of the original owner. Ask if they have power of attorney or anything similar where they can assign rights.

Oh, yeah, my original statement was not sarcastic. I have Virginia Creeper all over my back yard, easily identifiable by its 5-leaf pattern. Generally pretty harmless to most people. My yard ALSO has poison ivy, which is NOT harmless to most people (me especially).

status update on these 2 beetles.
i'm not getting the super he decided to keep it.
he is giving away the standard dm me if you want the contact info but
a couple of things:
there is no title and there is no communication with the previous owner.
you will need some sort of flatbed tow truck.

they look pretty good where they're at, IMO.
the drivetrain from the super and 1.9L WBX are the only things worth extracting in my world.
