Hi all,
I got an unknown transporter case with this num on it:
S112
004 101 102 A
6 ww0
the internal diameter for the cylinder in 100mm
so my plan is to rebuild this engine to have lot of horses and to install it in my 73' Ghia
I would appreciate your recommendation for build setup to have ~150HP +- and reliable engine (I'm not a drag racing but once a while I would like to burn up some rubber)

thanks a lot for your help
Avi

Quote:
2056 type 4

Good used W case.
Stock 71 mm crankshaft.
210 mm flywheel, lightened 1 kg.
Sachs HD pressure plate w. stock clutch disc.
Rotating assembly balanced.
AA H beam stock length rods.
Web 86b/86c camshaft on 104 LC. Installed straight up.
SLR reground type 4 lifters.
26 mm type 1 oil pump, modified to type 4.
Stock 94 mm cylinders bored out to 96 mm. Keith Black pistons.
Manton 3/8” push rods.
”S” cylinderheads, 42 x 36 mm valves, modified to my stage3 (Street) 10-1 CR.
HD rocker shafts with Porsche style adjusters.
009 distributor w. ignitor unit. Pertronix 3 ohm coil.
Dual 40 mm Dellorto carburettors with 35 mm venturies on CB manifolds.
4-2-1 header w. 1½/1 5/8/2 1/4” going into a 2½” muffler system.
CSP upright cooling system with a thermostatic controlled type 1 oil cooler in the stock type 1 position. 30 hp fan shroud with venturi ring.
Pull without belt.

looks impressive, now I just need to collect these parts...
can you please estimate the cost of this combo (without the case)?

thanks for your help
Avi

If you have only the case it adds up. Someting like € 5500-6000 with a cheap exhaust and Chinese 44 IDF and 6500-7000 if you want Dellorto´s and say a Python exhaust.

understood,
so probably I'll look for something cheaper...

are you familiar with some other cheaper combo (~half this price) that will produce ~150HP?

thanks
Avi

No. Power cost money.
Junk yard turbo on an existing engine maybe. For as long as it may last.
