Plx is good I have one also. But no recording options at all. Just a gauge. When you can look at a graph and see exactly what the car is doing for the entire drive instead of trying to watch it and drive.

my pulling issue was 100% bad valve springs, they can go bad fast if your floating the valves... Or if they are set up wrong

Mark, I'm suspecting coil supply voltage and or tach wiring cuz my tack is erratic.was going to run direct wire from alt batt pos to coil positive first.if that doest work i will disconnect tach from coil.hopefully that's the problem

Instead of pulling it will lay over and the engine pitch will change.

Lower or level out kinda. Drive a stock bug and don’t shift. At 4K or a little above the valves will float. Sounds like that.

Or you stop feeling it pull using your butt Dyno.

When it does it ,it sounds like it choking or gasping for air kinda.i know its actually not an air restriction problem(stand off lid,no air filters or stack screens).hard to believe its valve float with properly set up new cb650 springs tho.

If you keep flooring it at the 6000 mark what does it do? Does it want to just die out? Does the firing get erratic or does it full on stumble like poor mixture?

Could it be a bad ECU or coil that isn't able to handle the RPM?

The oval gas cap is not vented enough. I have run into this before. Try a little run with the cap off. If it still does it. Look elsewhere, but the tank still needs to be vented.
