I recently acquired this switch in a box of supposed oval parts I have don’t my research and narrowed it down to around 57-59 or said a forum that is when they switched from 4 to 3 terminals but I can’t say for certain I would really appreciate the help identifying this switch! Thank you!

1958-1960 Bus based upon the mounting bracket. ovals have a much longer mounting bracket. _________________ Roads Scholar &

3 to 4 Oval change theory HERE
L code is 1967 so 1967 Bus
Confused why it's screw terminal though, not sure I've ever seen a screw-terminal L code ignition.
I wondering if someone assembled the screw-terminal backing on a later ignition front?
Screw terminal ignitions also don't have a solid bracket like the, it's more of a bent "open" bracket.
Bus ignitions have the bracket in the center like your ignition, Beetle brackets are offset to the side a little, at least for later ones that would also be L-code.
Ovals are center bracketed like that as far as I know.
