Very carefully. You don't want to bend them at all. Perhaps a fine sanding roll?

I would get different ones...

Thanks. Or maybe a fine needle file? It’s for a type 4. I don’t know if there is much of a selection around in terms of quality. I don’t think they are necessary bad.

A thick piece of glass or granite with a hard smooth block with 1000 grit or finer....but moving up to 2000 or better to put a polish on them ....is how I have done a few of these.

If these burrs are "kinks" on the edge...they are done. If they are rust spots/specs....they may be done if the pit they leave is deep enough. Ray

Possibly same as lapping a piston ring but much smaller, would be best, but too much work.

something that thin just has sharp edges by nature IMO, but it's arguable.
If the edges are raised up might have to fix that.

Sometimes what works nice is get a soft rubber "craytex" wheel, and let it wear a groove in the wheel. Works for threads.

Thank you. Yes, it has some raised edges. Nothing crazy, but the typical burrs you might find here and there on cylinder base shims, etc. Kind of like a lot of aftermarket parts that seem to require a little cleaning up.

Probably overthinking it, but I used to not pay attention to any of this stuff.
