I suspect this is a coachbuilt, or one-off VW, but don't know specifics. Who knows?

Thanks,
Perry

Rometsch? With follow-up molestations?

The shape of the nose has that bat-wing bumper Rometsch used on some of his coach build cars but this one is missing a bit of that Rometsch grace. Rims would be all sorts of wrong for anything of that vintage.

Dannenhauer and Stauss dabbled with Porsche-looking coachbuilts but this one sure as hell lacks the refinement of one of those, not to mention much older styling of that butt.

Agreed, though I'm getting a Swedish vibe from the rear end.

Same here, I'm seeing a Volvo Amazon rear or at least influence. The rest does feel Rometsch with a Porsche base
