I am down to testing the thermoswitch/thermostat or whatever it is called, (the part that inserts into the heater body with the long probe). I have it on the bench. Are there any tests I can make on it at this point before putting it all back together in the car?

Sorry...getting there. I have family members in physical rehab and am trying to get things done for work on teh road at the same time....so the last few months have been getting it done from teh phone from various waiting rooms and plant lobbies..... Very Happy .

There is a temperature open text IIRC correctly. See what I can find. Ray
