While looking around I found some very interesting VW Busses, consisting of a 11 window and a 23 window bus! I have the google earth coordinates also. (Which I will list below)
Pics:
23 Window? might have been converted, still cool nonetheless, they look like project vehicles
^^ Personally my favourite of the bunch mostly because of the paint job, if you rescue these pm me if you wan to sell it ^^

Have fun, and happy hunting! |

Is it just me, or do those look like 1/2 sized replicas? Maybe it’s just the perspective? But that 23 looks like the top windows might be painted on. Hopefully I’m wrong, but the proportions seem a bit off in general to me. |

Those have been gone for a long while. The last time I saw one of those it was hiding in Chugiak, 30 miles down south from there.
Plus that wasn't a real 21 window bus... |

I took some pictures on May 29, 2016 at Gorilla Fireworks while hauling my 1st split down the Parks Hwy. Gone now - though there was a Bay substitute there last time I went by. Wasn't smart enough to look at M codes to check actual year or if it was a real camper. Seems there was a billboard bus of some sort there from at least the early '80s onward.

AK Plate style 1981 and up? Should be yellow

Well there you have it. I guess they are the real deal. Something about the perspective of the Google Street View photos makes them look smaller than the vehicles behind them! |
