I had a war with the mosquitos tonight...I think I won...maybe...

Now the really important question is:
What's the best way to get the bloodstains out of the headliner from swatting the little buggers?

These are "EverGlades" mosquitos. They carry a crew of five and their all juicy or they were. Now there red splots!

I really like to use the racquet style bug zapper like this one.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DFHJGWP/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A31QGNQ9MZZGC5&psc=1

You can easily get the mosquitoes in the air since they are not fast, no swatting really, just a smooth sweep thru the air.

Works great on flies and bees and gnats and....

i'm glad John Cougar Mellencamp did not use this line from his first draft of "Rain on the Plow"

melamine blocks, aka Mr Clean Magic Erasers might do the trick.

Heh,

So you made me realize I have never done what I thought of buying for errant mosquitos in the van. They make a "bug vac" that slurps them up and shreds bugs like spiders and others. When laying in bed it would be smart to have one at hand as they're battery powered. We hardly have any mosquitos but just before going to sleep if there is one in the van it will end up directly above us due to the white ceiling reflecting our reading lights. So it's a ritual to look for and repurpose them before lights out. The bug vac would make that chore quick and accurate. No more "crap, I missed him and now he's alert and buzzing all over the place!"

Sorry no help on the blood though blotting with a paper towel with bleach in it might do the trick since its a plastic headliner.

My cigarette lighter vacuum was the first thing on my mind last night! It made a good image in my memory of it sitting on the shelf in my storage. 🤬
