Would love to see a pic of the inside without the cover on. Is it an aluminum frame holding up the cover ?

Will do mate, its a tubular steel frame hinged at the front, will photo it today.

They are the factory optional fitment, springs inside and you fill them with grease. You can lock them on a highway with the linkage you can see.
