Slowly pecking away at getting the seat panels done. The weather is cooperating at minus 20 C degrees.
Overall I'm satisfied with the results so far. the puckers should vanish once the covers are stretched over the frames. _________________ June 1956 VW Oval Beetle |

Rear seat panels stretched on frames. Reworked the back but cannot get "puckers" out. Living with it for now; may be a do over. _________________ June 1956 VW Oval Beetle

The rear ashtray knob has been missing since I purchased the 56 Oval. Today I decided to make one out of hardwood. The black walnut works for me.
Too cold yet to work on body work so have been tackling small jobs for now. Decided to cover the back of the rear seat in vinyl.

I finished covering the last of the seat bases last weekend.
Time to get back to body work, hopefully. _________________ June 1956 VW Oval Beetle |

Wait! Want to make a few more sets? Well, at least one more set?
Looks great! Those turned out really nice! _________________ Jimbo

Thanks Jimmy, not perfect but will pass as upholstery.
Really need to get back to body work.
