Took my bus to my local "coffee" show. Met a nice woman with her 1964 original owner Ghia vert. It was amazing, all OG, headliner, 6v, she bought it new. Not for sale. Thought you might like it. She is in my town, may see her again

Beautiful! One year different than Moogie32's but otherwise a twin. So amazing to keep a car that long. Can't be many Ghia's left that are still with the original buyer. Congratulations go to the lucky owner for taking such good care of this gem. _________________ Marc

OMG - I did a double take when I saw that first picture! Wow - I would love to have a conversation with the owner and see her car first hand - absolutely stunning! TheGhiaGirl also has an incredibly original '64 convertible in Pacific Blue - but obviously she's not the original owner of it. Maybe the second? _________________ RIP HBB (1984-2009)

That roof and paint look great for being original! It must have spent its life in a garage and was driven sparingly. _________________ Ghia Owner Emeritus |

Lisa is up in Washington now so it couldn't be her- plus anyone who is the original owner of a 64 would be at least in their 70s..... _________________ RIP HBB (1984-2009)

Perhaps we should get her to call Betty in Berkeley and they could exchange KG stories together. Maybe take Betty out as she doesn't get out much these days.
I called Betty a couple of months ago to see if she was OK..."slower" she says, "but still hanging in there at 94" |
Lilcar's first owner, Leif (1962-1964) and third owner, Lorraine (1973-2007) are both are in the 90s and are also living in the Bay area - maybe they could get in on the fun too? _________________ RIP HBB (1984-2009)
