This isn’t mine, but I’ve spotted it for sale. Do you think it’s original or has someone made it (the vice grips are clearly original, it’s the welded bits on the jaws I’m asking about)? Vw1336 isn’t listed in the tools section so nothing to compare it against. Seller (no reason to doubt) says it’s original, purchased many years ago and clamps onto vw door hinges to re-grease. Hope I’ve put this in the right place but please feel free to move to another thread.

This is a 757-10 modified - but I guess not modified by Hazet...
What was this tool VW 1336 used for? Are there any old VW manual photos?

I use these old German catalogs (PDF downloads) from the Hazet website:
https://www.hazet.de/de/katalog-historie
But I've only a few Hazet tools collected the past years: https://www.vw-t2-bulli.de/hazet-de.html
|
I would have thought you would have a very nice collection. Being from the land of their creation. I wish I could pick up my local classifieds and buy some reasonably priced old Hazet stuff. _________________

Hello,
I found a tool from Matra, that's not listed in the special tool section.
Maybe someone knows for what it is? Pulling out the torsion bars? It's Matra 148
Thank you!
Harald

i feel like i've seen that before. i think it's for getting leverage on type 1 tailpipe tips to aid with removal from the muffler.
compare to VW644
also could be for some other kind of vehicle besides VW |

Hello Everyone,
before some time I showed a Matra Hydraulic Pack.
Now I have all the parts (only one small part missing) for the Hydraulic Pack.
It`s for getting out the pins at the door hinge!
It is real easy!! to do it with this tool! No hammer and nothing else needed.
Here you can see some photos.
Thank you!
Harald

Anyone know what this Manufacture Logo is?
I found some tool roll wrenches at the flea market and came across this..
Anyone have an idea what the Logo is for?

Hello Everyone, after just having gone through these 33 pages, I need help finding a 772/1 (ONE) Lug wrench c.1952. I am willing to pay top dollar, so please PM me. These can be easily distinguished from the more common 772/2 (TWO) Lug wrench by looking at the hub cap puller. On the 772/1 it is a "blade" type. This is different from the "pin" type seen on the 772/2.
Thank you,
Ben |

Picked up this vintage Matador socket set at a local auction today. Google search did not provide much information. Can anyone provide further insight on this?
