Spend the extra money and get the chromed ones. After 5 years I only need a quick wipe and good to go. Polished will require polishing 1 year at least. |

You're probably right, but at that point I might as well get the empi ones.
I was only interested in the cip1 wheels cause they were 118.00 each but price already went back up. |

Although I have no experience with the cip1 fuch's, every set of chromed wheels I have ever owned has pitted and flaked. My C6 Corvette wheels are chrome and they look terrible. Polished aluminum may not look exactly like chrome, and it does require some maintenance, but they can always be returned to a new or very near new appearance. Once chrome starts to have issues- its over. They have to be stripped and replated. I'll be going polished from her on out myself. _________________ Link to my build thread- Updated 6-6-07 http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=210613

Actually I was looking into the polished one for the 68 ghia.
Maybe 6s at all four.
But thank you for noticing the yellow pig |

OK so I finally decided to bite the bullet and order the wheels.
I gotta admit for the price they look pretty damn good.
Went with 15x6 at all for corners.
