He's takin' her friggin picture, for faulks sake!!! He's three times her age and a sugar daddy.

Although it doesn't show, there is a drive-thru ATM in the tree.

I agree.

But the tunnel cuts date back a century or more, so little additional harm is done by driving thru now. And it can help educate kids.

The wholesale clearcutting of redwood forests is worse.

And the loss of the entire redwood forest ecosystem - along with many others - from climate change is The Worst.

Combining a visit to a mutilated tree with a conversation on our terrorism of tree communities is a reasonable approach.

It's all fun and games until stupid tree tunneling takes down a 2,300 year old tree.
