Hi guys,
I´m from Chile and I want to import from USA the front disc brake kit and new rear brake drums for my Kombi Brazil Bus (T2) 1982, this version uses a link pin front axle beam and 5x205 bolt brake drums, but I have reviewed the Cip1 page and there are 3 different kits types for different years (??) ... .I do not know what T2 version it is equivalent to in those who arrived in the USA from Germany ... Any code or information about T2 Brazil?

Thanks and My best

These Brazil T1/2 were not exported to countries like the USA or Germany,
because of the outdated exhaust emissions and safety issues in 1981.
So also documentation and parts are only available in Brazil - if these are not common to T1 or T2.

The mixed cars from T1 and T2 could be found in Brazil and South Africa -
and the unpretentious market around them.

Not sure if this could be imported today to the USA as a classic car -
but to Germany it is not quite easy... and could get very expensive with lot of work.

Good luck...

I believe that the OP is asking about fitment of parts from CIP1 for hos '81 Brazilian bus, not about importing a bus to another country.

That is correct, I know that these Brazil versions never arrived in the USA market, but it may be equivalent to a older German production, (but no for production years) as with bugs ...... in cip1 they sell parts and many are compatible with Brazilian models like a bugs, others not ......I don't want to make a mistake in buying the wrong parts...Any experience or information is useful to me, I am already consulting in South Africa forums as well ...

I'm not sure about the pre-1997 vehicles, but for 1997~2012 Brazilian vehicles, try the following British forum:

I came across this site that seems to sell a lot of Brazilian parts: https://www.mickmotors.com.au/search_results.aspx?search=VW+CLASSIC+PARTS

Obviously, all that SOUNDS like a splitty front end (up to 67 in US and Germany) but who knows what else they did differently.

It is a beautiful bus.
