There was a guy here who bought a zero breeze battery powered air conditioner. After trying a air conditioner powered by a generator. Now we all know 3000 btu’s wouldn’t cool a vanagon. But pointed at you to just cool you. I would like to know how that worked out for him. John

I just go camping.

A lot of people try to make a Vanagon into a small class A camper.

A/C, blenders, coffee makers, porta-potties, showers and other civilized accessories aren't a part of that for me.

Corwyn, I invite you to come camping in Florida this summer. Are you familiar with No-See-Ums? They crawl right through regular tent screens. They are miserable compared to biting flies and mosquitoes. It's not the heat and humidity, its the bugs.

Mark,
So far I'm having excellent "luck" with these window screens the past 2 months. Unfortunately they are often sold out!

I've been out in the in the area between Lake Okeechobee / Alligator Alley
on most weekends and "Okaloacoochee Slough State Forest", (haven't learned how to pronounce it yet!) and not having bug problems except that one time I left the door open watching a sunset!
Once you get all the bugs dispensed with after your inside no more seem to get in.
