Finally, a good Pre-Heater Tube Hose
Solid aluminum tube. Light years ahead of the paper and aluminum foil ones I've bought in the past.
Only 8.99 from Advance Auto Parts.

Advance doesn't know Volkswageners, apparently. Seriously though, thanks for the tip. I just had to replace my air tubes because the right one tore as I was trying to twist off my oil cap. Trying to fit my big hand in there to twist off the oil cap with a new tight seal on it is frustrating.

I bought my first VW from an aircraft maintenance chief. My pre-heater hose was the same hose that's on a pilots' mask that supplied O2. Cool

Might be better, but does not have that org. VW bug look. Sad
Looks like it belongs on a elect. clothes dryer [vent] not on a powerful VW engine. Wink
