Anyone have a couple of pictures of their throttle ring and linkage set-up?
I failed to snap some pictures before I disabled my engine.
I just want to be sure everything goes back together as specified. Cannot find clear photos in the workshop manual.
Thanks

by the way, as far as I can tell, page 7 of section M-5 in the manual (1961-1965 1200) show clearest image, but just looking for some additional images. _________________ 1962 Ghia Cabriolet (why did I sell you?!)

This is great, thanks for the nod towards the exploded diagram.
Main concern is the pivot shaft that runs through a casting in the case. There seems to be no specific type of locking nut, and I only have one nut, so I was concerned about the pivot rod either vibrating loose or tightening up to the point where the rod binds within the case casting.
But it appears the rod (part 17) rotates within the flap/flange (part 24). _________________ 1962 Ghia Cabriolet (why did I sell you?!)

The throttle ring mounting flap rotates on the rod. The rod does not move. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |

Yes, absolutely... I didn't phrase that precisely. Thanks for the feedback and reassurance, Eric and/or Barb! _________________ 1962 Ghia Cabriolet (why did I sell you?!)
