Certainly no binding between the pedals.
Spring correct mounted, but perhaps faulty???How to check?
Other possible reason?
Any help welcome... |

As long as the you have the correct free play in the pedal and the brakes don’t drag once everything gets hot, don’t worry about it. None of my pedals line up to the other ones but I get full throttle, the car stops and the clutch works great.
I have a new aftermarket pedal assembly which I won’t advertise cause it ain’t worth what they’re selling it for. I’ve seen images of other peoples pedals that line up perfectly though but I don’t think it’s worth the effort.
If you don’t have enough travel for your brakes you may want to adjust the pedal stop bracket on the floor pan and see if that helps. _________________ Volkswagen!

On the LHD cars the bent tang of the return spring goes over the bolt head that holds the assembly on the tunnel. Do they make a different spring for RHD? _________________ Daily driver: '69 Baja owned 44 yrs - Plan B: '81 Rabbit Diesel LS Deluxe - Plan C: '72 Ghia
