Hey guys and girls! I just acquired this 72 Fastback, I know I can get a floor pan for the drivers side for a pretty penny, but I was wondering if this upper piece, where the floor pans mount to the body is something I can buy as an aftermarket or reproduction part or if I will have to fabricate something myself? The part circled in white.

You get that with a 'cut to order' repair section from the front inner fender.
I have a passenger side & might have a driver side? _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts

If Mike has them, that'll be the way to go. Otherwise you're looking at having to fabricate them, because nobody reproduces them. _________________ Bob 65 Notch S with Sunroof

Fabricating it correctly would be very challenging.
It's two pieces spot welded together and several tight, compound curves with nut inserts. Finding a section cut from a car would be the way to go

This is my best/most complete driver side inner fender to 'cut to order', but I'm having trouble sharing a pic of it to TheSamba from my iPhone.
pm me & I can email the pic to you. _________________ https://imgur.com/user/FisherSquareback/posts
