I have been on the limb regarding this muffler for a while. I want a stock style muffler with a stock sound (I know I am asking to much) , but with a little more flow. I was interested in the Vintage Speed muffler, but I haven't seen much info regarding this muffler, so I thought I would take the plunge and post my opinion.

I got this recently at CIP1 for $373 with free shipping. Pretty good price I believe.

The welds are decent. Not great but they are okay. When unboxing I actually got several cuts in my finger tips from the some of the metal edges left over on the rolled ends of the muffler. Kind of annoying to say the least.

I have ran this muffler installed for the last week. The hardware kit I bought from CIP1 was junk. I ended up using part of my old hardware to get it installed correctly.

The sound of the muffler is barely louder than the stock Kadron I had on it. If I did not tell you it was an aftermarket version I do not believe you would have noticed. My butt dyno says the muffler has given the engine a little more grunt.

I will get up a video of before and after.

How did it fit up? Are the two manifold heat flanges placed right?

Maybe not. Since this is more of stock style muffler than performance.

Here is a video showing a comparison of the two different exhaust systems.

Yes, since it's the same subject with the same replies/videos.

Let's use that topic.
