In my never ending quest to solve my electrical issues, I have an odd one:
When driving, there’s clicking from the fusebox area (I’m assuming it’s the actual fuse box). When I come to a stop, engine running, it stops. When I resume driving, it’s clickity click click again.
What makes a fusebox click? I took a video but not sure how to upload.

Sounds like a relay is having an issue. Might want to figure out which one, then track down issue. _________________ Jimbo

Any water leaks?, a flasher relay that's full of water sometimes does that. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Thanks everyone. I've inherited one heck of a wiring hack job, the only thing keeping me sane these days is your help. I really appreciate it!
Busdaddy: no leaks.
Starbucket: no issues with speedo, this is clearly coming from the fusebox area.
Here's the video, don't judge me for driving in my socks

Looks like you have an AC system installed. Might want to start there! I am betting some wire was hacked into and after 40 plus years is now having a hissy fit! _________________ Jimbo

It's funny you say that. This car had factory AC, but I was told it hasn't worked in 20 years. I found the AC relay that was tucked behind the glove box and pulled it all out.
What do you see related to the AC so that I can pull the rest out- the red wire on the right side of the fuse box, or something else? |
