Wow that's some weapons-grade brass fitting innovation right there!
It's CB's Maxi Filter Pump, external plumbing skeleton style!

Don’t think I’d like the weight shaking around on the case. The cover type at least have the pump studs for the weight. |

Does not look like it will clear a merged header. Might as well buy a filter pump. |

Pretty hard to argue with 17 years of success guys! Unless it mostly sat in the garage - how many miles and on what kind of roads Fredybear? That would complete the picture. _________________ We had the stone age, the bronze age, the industrial age and now we are in the age of mass deception and mind control for corporate profit. He never said he did it 18 years ago, just that he came up with the idea. _________________ Glenn

Nice! Looks like the sort of thing I would put together if I didn't want to wait for the right part to arrive.
I was just shopping for some brass fittings last week. It would probably be cheaper to buy the full-flow filter pump now. _________________ Craig ('51 WASP)

Yes, its ugly. Any machinist could make something beautiful.
I did not show anybody this back in the day cause I thought someone would steal the idea and make huge profits. Like the squishies with th NDA and I think the torquemister was stolen, I think, cant remember.
Now I dont care, Just want to see if one of you engine builders want to try something different and test it out.
The in and out pump is fake full flow, this one is real full flow.
Yes, it you hit something, your case will be destroyed.
Its not heavy and its really locked it there. Try it out. Its only a few pieces.
You should drill out the holes, like so..
I drove it in right after putting it together, over 100 miles, it works..Try it. |

Its has a bracket for clamping, you could not see it in the front on pic, so you can lock it up.

Fake full flow? It takes all the oil out to the filter then back the same way. Just uses 4 more inches of the oil galley. |

......................................................................................................................................ok ok what ever makes you happy .go for it. thats what lifes all about . trying some thing differnt .i hope you prove us all wrong . i do see what your trying to do . your fittings flow more oil because there way more bigger. than a bolt on oil pump with filter that has way smaller holes for the oil to flow to the filter from what i see your set up would supply more oil to the engine case .than a oil pump with filter good luck spencerfvee |
