Dear fellow Sambans,
Does anybody know what this brown wire under dash is for? Is it perhaps the answer to why my break signal is always on? (My breaks are just fine thank you) ... any suggestions greatly appreciated.

You'll have to find the other end and tell us what it's attached to, there lots of brown wires in that area. _________________ Rust NEVER sleeps and stock never goes out of style.

Solid brown wires are mostly used for grounds to some connection on the body - but not always. The only
brown wire involved in brake stuff is the ground wire to the warning light, but that being disconnected
would just mean the light never comes on. _________________ '67 bug: seized by the authorities

Kreemo has it?
With a .110" terminal, which is what it looks like, that is most likely supposed to be connected to the brake warning light. It could also be for the switch on the handbrake lever (which is also part of that warning light circuit) but I don't think a '75 has that switch. _________________ SL |
