Rack-N-Pinion was the Big Jump in the Supers, why preferred for German Lookers, not to mention the McPerson Strut design..... RB

Was going to just post my bug, but then I saw your reply. My 1302-S is also a 1971 model year and according to Volkswagen left the factory in August 70.

So odd though because I never ever see 75 Standards, and even rarer 75 Supers. |

Here's my 1979 Super Convertible. It has River Blue paint and 54K miles. The first owner bought the car in New England and took it to California. He put 42K miles on it. In 1989 he died and left the car to a family member in Rhode Island. So the car found it's way back to the East coast and was sold. The second owner kept it in a garage for 31 years, drove it May to September, never went faster than 45 mph, and put 10K miles on it during 31 years of ownership. I'm the third owner.

My 74 standard beetle , love bug special edition. Has a few incorrect parts like the wheels and chrome bumpers. I’ll be putting those back to stock. |
