Sapphire XVIII Bluetooth Addition

Wanted to have Bluetooth in my car. It has a Sapphire XVIII AM radio. Did not want to replace it.

I got a 12v Bluetooth receiver and a couple of resistors. Combined the stereo output from the Bluetooth receiver using the resistors to make it mono. Snipped the AM to volume pot connection and ran it to a SPDT switch as input. Connected the pot as output of the same switch and connected the mono positive from the Bluetooth receiver to the second input of the switch.

Now I have Bluetooth in the Sapphire and volume for both AM and Bluetooth is controlled by the radio volume pot.
