Hi gang-

Long story short, a person ran a red light and hit my son’s 02 Jetta. Everyone is fine no problems there but the car is likely totaled. The 195 / 65 R15 tires on the Jetta are just 5 weeks old (figures right?) and the tires on my 71 super are shot.

I think the collision place that has the Jetta will pull the tires off for a small fee if I ask them. My question is will they fit the bug? The tires currently on the bug are 165 R15. I think the rims are the originals but I’m not positive.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks man. Yeah, scary but no one hurt . Should hear today if the Jetta is salvageable. If it’s not, I’m going to give the tires a shot.
Thanks again

Tires will fit.

My daughter was coming up to a intersection in the turn lane. Someone cut the corner of the lane and her airbags went off. $3K for airbags and sensors. 09 Fusion 62,000. Perfect shape. Totaled

195 is too wide for stock 4.5" rims.
