Glenn posted this in the poll thread about what year your bug is.
Are these available for years without the shock absorbing bumpers? I'm currently running without bumpers. I had them off to redo my rear trailing arm bushings. I'm going to paint my fenders this winter. 3D printing shouldn't be to difficult would it?
Thanks Dan

I'm looking for an oval bumper slot. My 69 has oval cut-outs for the bumper brackets. I'm looking for those. _________________ '69 Beetle

Let me clarify, I'm wondering if there are solid grommets for 68-73? Oval slotted bumper brackets fenders. Im not running bumpers right now and kinda digging the look. _________________ '69 Beetle

Put a couple of cool looking vinyl stickers over the openings, easy to remove if you go back to bumpers. |

I may have to do that. I just thought it would be easy enough to 3D print if that's what you're into. _________________ '69 Beetle

Poof now they exist.
I just finished these up. They are the bumper bracket block offs mentioned earlier.
I test printed a NEW FLEXIBLE material called TPU. It actually dope as hell. I got a video of me "flexing" But i had to throw some random harp music over the video because my stomach was growling and made the video awkward.
heres the video,

and here are the cad screenshots
Going on the market soon! maybe.
So by a show of "hands", how many folks are interested in these? _________________ -'85 c10 5.3 LS, 222 cam, long tubes, x pipe, 3 inch spin tech's

Well...if i wanted bumper block offs I guess I would be....but I like bumpers. That said, can you print them in different colors? _________________ Eventually, "we are what we pretend to be.’”

Quoted from filiment2print.com
This material is characterized by its high resistance to abrasion, certain chemical elements, UV rays and low temperatures. This set of properties makes the use of the TPU widespread throughout the industry. ... Thanks to the whole set of TPU properties, this thermoplastic is used in countless sectors. _________________ -'85 c10 5.3 LS, 222 cam, long tubes, x pipe, 3 inch spin tech's

Super cool ( see what I did there). This opens the door to all types of rubber bits. _________________ 1979 Bug project |
