I recently purchased an entire syncro vanagon body from derrick. He advertised it here on thesamba, I sent him an email inquiry and after his response we spoke on the phone. I sent him a small deposit and he held onto the van for me for almost a month before I could arrange to get down there and pick it up. I did the 1800 mile round trip from Michigan with a trailer. Derrick helped us load it, gave us a tour of his awesome buses and we walked the yard. He had a handful of customer vehicles there and they were building engines in the shop. It was a great experience.

I bought a hood lock from Derrick and he shipped it to Gabkeys to be cut on my behalf as I'm in Australia.
Part is as described and he's 100% trustworthy.

I had an excellent in-person experience with Derrick today, buying parts for my 67 sunroof bug. He is more than willing to help locate parts and show where they are in the yard.
