I have a 72 VW bus and the rain gutter is rusting pretty bad. Can I use rust converter to fix it? Also, should I use rhino liner after to keep it from continuing to rust? I live at the beach with no garage, so it's a constant battle. |

No, it only neutralizes the surface of the rust. Underneath will still be active rust. The only real solution is to remove it, prime and paint the area. Removing it means getting down to shiny metal. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

If the rust is inside the gutter, use a wire wheel to get cleaned free of seam sealer, then repair metal , Ospho treat, re - seal with seam caulk, then paint it. _________________ "A life of peace and happiness depends on your own gratefulness" |
