Shifter Spacer Orientation

I want to install the shifter primarily to check to see if the reverse lights are working. I can’t remember the orientation of the piece below.

Tabs up? Longer tab on driver’s side or passenger? The car is a left hand drive US 1747 KG Coupe if that matters.

Any tips for installing the shifter lever? Adjustments to be made for accurate shifting?

The search tools either in the gallery or the forums will reveal the answers to this common quandary.

In this photo from sambanista Cusser, he has marked the orientation. F - front, R - Rear, D-Driver or left and P-Passenger or right.

Couldn't find it the forum. Perhaps gave up too early but did not think to search others' photos in the gallery.
