I found these at an old junkyard the other day. They seem to fit but they have these 2 tabs instead of hinges, anybody know?

Maybe Volvo 444 ? Sure they are Vw? _________________ Zelensis, glassfibre body made in Belgium , disigned and built on a VW platform About 25 body's built.

I worked for Volvo of North America, back in the 70s and learned that about the only part that fit a VW, were the beautiful 15" trim rings and yes, i'll bet those are 444 or 544 pop-outs - z _________________ 5/50, pastel green 11G - SOLD

doing a bit of googling seems to confirm peter's volvo theory. hinges fit into two slots in the B pillar...
