I have a 95 camper van with 2.5 engine and 5 speed. I found an open port on the vac line off the brake booster (light green in the photo), and do not see any other lines unhooked. I purchased a T4 Euro manual and there are no diagrams in it, also the sticker under the hood shows limited information. There is also what I believe is a check valve which is broken laying on the valve cover. Can anyone provide a diagram or tell me where this open connection should go? I see no other lines un hooked. I have checked other posts as well.
thanks

There is nothing wrong with the check valve and the green cap. The check valve is for the vent to the atmosphere and the other end is connect to the EGR solenoid. Green cap is just there.

BTW, I had the same exact question before. Took me awhile to figure it out.
