The pains and anxiety of having your Vanagon break down in NYC.
I’m looking for someone who will replace a head for me somewhat near the city. Would you guys recommend anyone?

Bruno’s in middle village queens

Always fair always a van in the lot in the queue. Understood that I wasn’t looking for a show car, just a driver.

Yes I go to Bruno’s. They just seem to be a bit busy with newer cars.
Was wondering if there was anyone that would take a little bit more TLC and not bill for every minute spent.

Hmmm......... so what are your skills?

Your low cost repair answer may lie in the age old practice of bartering.

What services/items can you offer to someone who has the skills to fix your engine?

Back before medical malpractice insurance costs skyrocketed, my Sister-in-law was the towns only female MD.
She at times delivered babies and provided healthcare by trading services.
Auto repair
House repair
House painting
Yard work
Whatever she needed and the patient could provide.

Thanks for the correction. I used to be a nice guy, then I ruined it by exposing myself to the public.
