I think I might see a subhatch there, but no Westy tent mount or bracket on the front right bumper. |

I'm confused about what is going on with the left front door or what is that? |

The front door might have some sort of home made storage rack.
And I Iike the kid on the end with the toy tommy gun. He looks to be about my age, and I spent half my childhood playing with toy guns. Cowboys and Indians alternated with WWII and Man From UNCLE. _________________ Founder and Chairman Emeritus, ECMSAS

That looks like a fence or a bench for in front of the bus.
No plate, maybe it was brand new then? I’m not sure what’s on the rear hatch.
There’s a ‘58 Westy in that color with that color tent which still exists, wonder if it’s the same bus? Do you know where those photos were found? |

It looks to me like the door is closed on the bus. Look behind Mom's head. You can see the metal divide between the sliding window and the stationary one. _________________ Prosit!

From the FB page, Zephyr America: A Lens on the Past
Kaibab NF, Arizona , November 1975
Apparently painting bus bumpers black was a thing in the 70’s. My 65 Westy bumpers had been painted black way back when. |
