I'm debating painting my 68 bay a flat/satin red/maroon color. Just wondered if anyone had any pics of their flat rides painted something other than flat black or olive green.

The red bug on page one in the link is the color I'm looking for. Anyone know which Hot Rod Flatz color that is?

I saw the color chart. I just couldn't tell if it was hot rod red or the oxide red.

Is there a clear coat on these satin finishes?

Is there any issues with scuffing?

How well does it age compared to a glossy finish?

I was going to reply with a pic of my car, but as I read through I see someone beat me too it! lol Granted, it was a picture from the PO, but still kind of funny (its the Blue/White one).

I would say it holds up pretty well. It doesn't seem to clean up as easy, takes a little more scrubbing to get the bugs off, but once clean seems to look cleaner longer.

Hi, I am writing from Italy (my name is Fabio) and I realize that this 3d has a few years on its shoulders, it is dated, but I still try to give it a try: do you have information on the code or number of this mango paint? I would like to use it on my 1965 bug. I tried to do a search on the forum but it is huge ... really difficult

Thanks!
