Hi,
I was having problems with my 1955 oval starting lately and noticed that it was just cranking over and over again but never starting. I think I narrowed it down to bad spark plug wires but when the order came in for the new ones they looked different. The plug side of the wires look different from the originals and don't seem to fit over the plug. Is this the correct set? Do I need to do something different to get them to fit? Any help appreciated.

The one with the orange end is the new one.

Thanks

you have to unscrew the tip from the spark plug . the blue wire is made to use with it on. those are funky anyway. the orange one you got is better . the other one's tend to fall off. Very Happy

I will def try that now. Quick question. Does the plug have to come out or can it be done with the plug in the motor?

TIA

I possible in the car, providing the tip is designed to be unscrewed.

Maybe take one of the plugs out and verify.
