I'm looking for any Info on Jack Ryan and which VW Dealership he owned in Atlanta in mid 60's. He owned the first Porsche 911 #128 to win 24hrs in Daytona in 66'. Looking for info on the VW side.. Searched the site with no luck..ANY help appreciated!

I'll take a guess and say it was RBM Motors in Griffin, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta.

He had their name on the 911.

Correct.. he was a founder of RBM in 64'.. but multiple articles identify him as a VW dealer.. .not Mercedes... just saw the invoice .. THANKS! haven't seen that before!! CHEERS

Hello.guys.My name is todd coates.my dad and uncle worked for Mr.Jack Ryan in 1950 when RBM in Griffin ga.My dad ran the parts and my uncle was his top mechanic there and his mechanic on the races Ryan ran.I have a whole lot of history on him is anyone is interested. Thanks alot of crazy stories from my dad about all that went one thru those times.amazing
